Secret Pinot Noir Mixed Case July
2 x The Honourable
The Honourable is our finest Pinot Noir – named in tribute to the Honourable Charles Bigg Wither. One of the pioneering farmers of the region, Charles bought the Taylor River Run No. 14 in 1848. In homage to his legacy and the hills that bear his name, the Honourable is chosen only in special vintages that craft‑ super-premium Marlborough Pinot Noir.
2 x Wairau Valley Pinot Noir
Rich brooding aromatics full of juicy dark berries and subtle earthy undertones. The palate is layered with sumptuous fruit and spice bundled together with bright acidity and fine tannins. Will reward patient cellaring up to 12 years.
A note from Matt Large, Wither Hills Winemaker: "Best matched to darker, gamey meats like lamb and venison, this is the wine for Sunday family get togethers."
2 x Taylor River Single Vineyard Pinot Noir
A dense crimson red in colour that instantly alludes to its rich complexity as the wine hits the glass. A layered structure of forest berries, peppercorn spice, chewy tannins and bright acidity. Sumptuous now or over the next decade.
A note from Matt Large, Wither Hills Winemaker: "This Single Vineyard wine represents some of the finest Pinot Noir crafted by Wither Hills and I open it with friends and family when there is something to celebrate. The very best of Marlborough in a glass."
